Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical
Location: Kansas City, MO (64132)
Shifts Available: Days & Nights – Rotating Weekends
Compensation: $30.04–$41.50/hr (DOE)
Shift Differentials: $4/hr Nights | $4/hr Weekends
Sign-On Bonus: Up to $30,000 (based on shift; 2-year commitment)
Relocation Assistance: Considered on a case-by-case basis

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking experienced and compassionate Medical-Surgical Registered Nurses to join a dynamic, high-acuity clinical environment. This role supports a diverse adult population with medical, surgical, cardiac, neurological, and post-operative needs. As part of a Level I Trauma setting, the Med-Surg department manages clinically complex but stable patients, offering exceptional opportunities for professional growth and expanded clinical skills.
Perform comprehensive assessments aligned with nursing standards and clinical protocols.
Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans to support optimal patient outcomes.
Deliver safe and effective direct patient care while supervising non-licensed support staff.
Provide education, emotional support, and guidance tailored to patient needs and backgrounds.
Maintain accurate, timely documentation of assessments, interventions, and patient progress.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care.
Minimum of 1 year of acute care RN experience (recent experience not required).
Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN accepted).
Active RN license in the state of practice or a valid multistate compact license.
Current BLS certification.
