Job Title: Pharmacist I – Contract
Location: New York, NY
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 07:30 AM – 04:00 PM
Pay Rate: $80 – $90 per hour
Job Summary:
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Pharmacist I to support patient care through accurate medication preparation, pharmacological guidance, and monitoring of drug therapies. The ideal candidate will collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure safe and effective medication use.
Responsibilities:
Dispense medications accurately and in a timely manner.
Resolve questions regarding formulary and non-formulary medications, following established policies and procedures.
Provide dosing and therapeutic recommendations based on patient age, kinetics, and current literature.
Perform patient education, including correct dosing, timing, potential side effects, and drug interactions, as per departmental requirements.
Qualifications:
Graduate from an accredited College of Pharmacy (ACPE).
0–2 years of experience as a licensed Pharmacist.
