Job Title: MRI Technologist
Location: New York, NY
Duration: 9 Weeks | Hours: 37.5/week (Union, Varied Shifts)
Pay: $80 – $85/hr
Job Summary:
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to perform high-quality imaging procedures, ensure patient safety, and maintain equipment and records in compliance with protocols.
Responsibilities:
Perform MRI procedures and position patients/coils for optimal imaging.
Educate patients on procedures and review safety questionnaires.
Ensure accurate image labeling, evaluate quality, and transmit to PACS.
Complete documentation and scheduling in Radiology Information System (IDX).
Maintain cleanliness, supplies, and safety standards in MRI suite.
Assist physicians and report equipment issues.
Adhere to infection control and MRI safety guidelines.
Requirements:
Strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, and MRI physics.
Graduate of an AMA/J.C.E.R.T. accredited Radiologic Technology program.
NY State License in Diagnostic Radiology, ARRT MRI registry, BCLS certified.
2+ years MRI experience preferred.
