Shift: 12-Hour Day Shifts
Schedule: Sunday, Friday, Saturday
Location: Silver City, NM
A Travel Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is needed for a day-shift assignment in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation environment. The LPN will provide consistent, high-quality patient care while ensuring compliance with clinical, regulatory, and safety standards.
Deliver direct nursing care to residents based on established care plans and facility protocols.
Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely.
Monitor patient status and document clinical changes promptly.
Assist with wound care, assessments, and daily health monitoring.
Maintain clear communication with RNs, CNAs, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams.
Support admission, discharge, and transfer processes.
Ensure proper documentation in the facility’s EMR or charting system.
Promote resident comfort, dignity, and safety at all times.
Follow all infection control, state regulations, and facility policies.
Active LPN license in state of assignment (or ability to obtain).
Experience in long-term care, rehab, or skilled nursing preferred.
Strong clinical judgment, communication, and documentation skills.
Ability to work independently during long day shifts.
