Location: Lewiston, ME
A Travel Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is needed for an overnight assignment in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation environment. The nurse will provide high-quality patient care, support residents’ daily medical needs, and collaborate with healthcare staff to ensure safe and compliant care delivery.
Provide direct nursing care to residents based on established plans and clinical standards.
Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with state and facility guidelines.
Monitor and document patient status, including vitals, behaviors, and clinical changes.
Respond promptly to resident needs and clinical emergencies.
Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges as needed.
Maintain accurate and timely charting in the facility’s documentation system.
Communicate effectively with CNAs, RNs, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory, infection control, and safety standards.
Support residents with activities of daily living as needed.
Provide compassionate care and promote a safe, respectful environment.
Active LPN license in the state of assignment (or ability to obtain).
Previous experience in long-term care, rehab, or skilled nursing strongly preferred.
Strong communication, assessment, and documentation skills.
Ability to work independently on overnight shifts.
Reliable and punctual with strong patient-care focus.
