Job Title: Polysomnographer / Sleep Technologist
Location: Greenville, SC 29605
Assignment Duration: 13 weeks
Schedule: Nights, 4x10-hour shifts (20:00–06:30), every other weekend
Pay: $40–$50/hr

Job Summary:

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking Polysomnographer / Sleep Technologist for an exciting job in Greenville, SC.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct and monitor overnight polysomnographic recordings following established protocols.

  • Perform patient assessments, equipment setup, sensor application, calibration, and data acquisition.

  • Monitor sleep stages, respiratory activity, cardiac activity, limb movements, and abnormal events throughout studies.

  • Recognize and respond to respiratory or cardiac emergencies according to facility guidelines.

  • Score sleep studies and generate detailed preliminary reports.

  • Ensure patient safety and comfort, particularly for pediatric populations.

  • Maintain equipment functionality, troubleshoot issues, and ensure accurate data collection.

  • Adhere to departmental policies regarding documentation, infection control, and patient confidentiality.

  • Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other staff to support continuity of care.

  • Complete 16 hours of non-billable orientation.

Qualifications:

  • Required Certifications/Licensure:

    • RPSGT (Registered Polysomnographic Technologist) or RRT-SDS (Registered Respiratory Therapist – Sleep Disorders Specialist)

    • RPSGT applicants must provide LLR exemption letter.

    • RRT-SDS applicants must have South Carolina state license from LLR.

    • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.

  • Experience performing sleep studies, preferably in a pediatric sleep lab.

  • Ability to work night shifts (20:00–06:30) and every other weekend (Friday–Sunday).

  • Strong technical skills in sleep equipment setup, troubleshooting, and study scoring.

  • Excellent communication, patient-care, and problem-solving abilities.
