  • 07:00 AM–03:00 PM

  • 07:30 AM–03:30 PM
    Hours: 37.5 hrs/week

Job Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to support a busy Nuclear Medicine department. The role includes performing Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT exams, preparing radiopharmaceuticals, ensuring patient safety, and operating advanced imaging equipment in accordance with regulatory and departmental standards.

Responsibilities

  • Perform Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT procedures per established protocols.

  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment (e.g., Siemens Biograph Vision PET/CT).

  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals following safety and compliance guidelines.

  • Educate patients and families on procedures, expectations, and safety.

  • Monitor patients throughout imaging and respond to clinical needs.

  • Conduct quality control, calibration, and routine equipment testing.

  • Maintain accurate documentation, imaging records, and logs.

  • Adhere to radiation safety standards, including ALARA principles.

  • Support workflow, room preparation, and scheduling as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • ARRT or NMTCB Certification in Nuclear Medicine

  • Post-secondary Certification in Computed Tomography

  • New York State Radiologic Technologist License

  • BLS Certification

  • Minimum 1 year of Nuclear Medicine experience

  • Experience performing PET/CT on Siemens systems

  • Strong communication and patient education skills

  • Knowledge of radiation safety and imaging protocols

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • Hospital or large health system experience

  • Experience in high-volume PET/CT environments
