Job Title: Pharmacist
Location: New York, NY
Shifts Available: Days/Evenings/Nights (5×8)
Local Pay Rate: $90 to $92/hr
Weekly Pay Rate: $3,375 to $3,450
Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a Pharmacist for an exciting opportunity in New York, NY.
Qualifications
Graduate of an ACPE-accredited College of Pharmacy.
Minimum of two (2) years’ experience as a licensed inpatient pharmacist.
Experience with chemotherapy preparation required.
Ability to work across multiple specialty units.
Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
Prepare and dispense medications accurately and in a timely manner.
Provide dosing, therapeutic recommendations, and pharmacokinetic guidance based on patient age and clinical literature.
Address questions regarding formulary and non-formulary medications, adhering to all hospital policies and procedures.
Monitor patient drug therapies and offer clinical insights to the healthcare team.
Perform patient education on medication use, dosing schedules, potential side effects, and drug interactions.
Support specialty areas as needed, including chemo preparation and floating across critical care, pediatrics, oncology, transplant, medicine, and cardiac units.
