Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Med Surg Nursing Manager – Full-time Days (No Weekends) for an exciting opportunity in Georgetown, TX.
Qualifications
Registered Nurse with current licensure.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
At least 2 years of healthcare experience.
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
Ability and willingness to be hands-on with patient care as needed.
Responsibilities
Oversee all functions of a 45-bed Med Surg unit under the supervision of the unit’s Director.
Collaborate with management and medical staff to address unit needs, maintain compliance with core measures, and promote efficient departmental activities.
Manage personnel assignments based on patient acuity and staff competencies.
Provide ongoing supervision, resolve conflicts, and participate in performance evaluations.
Conduct daily rounds with leadership to support staff and patients directly.
