Job Title: Registered Nurse – MS/Tele (MSU)
Location: Rochester, NY 14621
Shift: Days (3×12-hour shifts, 07:00–19:00)
Duration: 13 weeks
Orientation: 16 hours
Block Scheduling: Not available


Scheduling & Charting

  • Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

  • Holiday Requirement: Must be available to work every other holiday, if needed

  • Charting: EPIC experience required

  • RTO & Special Requests: Must be submitted at time of submission

  • Facility Call-Off Policy: Up to 3 shifts may be canceled per 13-week contract

  • First-Time Travelers: Accepted


Licensure & Certifications

  • Active NY RN license required at submission (pending not accepted; NY is non-compact)

  • Certifications: BLS required


Required Clinical Skills

  • MS/Tele Competencies:

    • Cardiac monitoring

    • Interpretation & management of dysrhythmias

    • Rapid Response/Code Team participation

  • Respiratory:

    • Nasal cannula, oxygen administration, portable oxygen tanks

    • Non-invasive airway management

  • IV Therapy/Phlebotomy:

    • Peripheral line care & management

  • Other:

    • Isolation precautions


Unit Details & Expectations

  • Patient Ratio: 1:5

  • Floating: Required within competency

  • Scrub Colors: Navy blue and white combinations


Facility Guideline

  • COVID-19 Vaccine: Not required
