Job Title: Dietitian – Dietary Services
Location: West Seneca, NY 14224
Shift: Days (5×8-hour shifts, 08:00–16:30)
Duration: 26 weeks

The Dietitian will serve as a key member of an interdisciplinary healthcare team, providing comprehensive Medical Nutrition Therapy. This role includes collaborating with physicians on nutrition support needs, developing specialized diet plans, supervising menu preparation, ensuring safety and sanitation standards, and educating individuals, families, and staff on therapeutic nutrition care plans.
Assess and monitor the nutritional status of all individuals admitted to the facility.
Develop, plan, and approve therapeutic and specialized diets and menus.
Consult with healthcare providers to determine nutritional requirements and diet restrictions.
Complete annual nutritional assessments and diagnoses using the Nutritional Care Process (NCP).
Perform monthly weight reviews, EHR chart reviews (labs, fluid balance, etc.), update diet orders, rosters, and dining guidelines.
Participate in the creation of seasonal menus tailored to individual needs.
Conduct meal observations for quality and compliance.
Provide nutrition education to individuals and families.
Assist with annual sanitation inspections and food safety updates.
Attend and contribute to required meetings (life plan, residential habilitation, nutrition department, etc.).
Monday–Friday, 08:00–16:30
