Job Title: Occupational Therapist (OT)
Location: Williamstown, MA
Contract Duration: 14 Weeks

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join a rehabilitation-focused skilled nursing environment. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality therapeutic services aimed at improving functional independence, cognitive skills, and overall patient quality of life.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough occupational therapy evaluations to identify patient needs and functional limitations.

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evaluation findings and patient goals.

  • Provide therapeutic interventions targeting ADLs, fine motor skills, cognitive functioning, and adaptive strategies.

  • Document evaluations, treatment sessions, progress notes, and care plans in accordance with facility and regulatory standards.

  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team to ensure cohesive, patient-centered care.

  • Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic exercises, adaptive equipment, and safe techniques for daily activities.

  • Participate in care conferences and contribute to discharge planning as needed.

  • Maintain a safe and supportive therapeutic environment that promotes patient progress.

  • Modify treatment plans as required based on patient performance and clinical judgment.

  • Adhere to professional standards, state and federal regulations, and facility guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in Massachusetts (or ability to obtain prior to start).

  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.

  • Prior experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting preferred.

  • Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills.

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
