Contract Duration: 22 weeks

Shift Details: 3×12s | 12-hour shifts | 36 hours/week
Schedule Notes: Every other weekend & some holidays required
Seeking experienced Night Shift Pediatric Registered Nurses to support inpatient pediatric units in a high-acuity hospital environment. RNs should be confident working with pediatric patients in Level 1 or Level 2 trauma settings and be able to perform advanced nursing assessments with minimal supervision.
• Provide comprehensive nursing care to pediatric patients in an inpatient acute care setting
• Perform accurate assessments, interventions, and follow-up care
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, effective patient care
• Utilize EMR systems (EPIC preferred) for documentation and chart management
• Adhere to required clinical protocols, safety standards, and infection control practices
• Work every other weekend and select holidays as scheduled
• Maintain professionalism, strong communication, and clinical judgment
• Perform majority of patient care skills independently with minimal orientation
• Active New York State RN License
• Minimum 1.5 years recent acute-care experience (within the past 2 years)
• 2 years of experience in a Level 1 or Level 2 trauma center (Required)
• Current BLS certification (Must be able to renew as needed)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• No history of license suspension, investigation, or liability claims
• Must pass pre-employment health screening, drug test, and background check
• Legal authorization to work in the United States
• Experience in hospitals of equal or greater size/acuity
• EPIC EMR experience
• Previous travel nursing experience
