Job Title: CT Scan Technologist (Contract)
Location: Edison, NJ 08818
Shift: Nights | 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Duration: 8 Weeks
Pay Rate: $58–$67/hr | Weekly: $2,175–$2,512.50
Job Summary:
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced CT Scan Technologist to perform advanced CT procedures, support interventional studies, and deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging using GE equipment, Epic EMR, and Fuji PACS.
Responsibilities:
Perform complex CT exams and ensure high-quality images.
Review clinical history and contrast questionnaires; document in PACS/Epic.
Administer contrast and perform venipuncture per protocol.
Communicate with radiologists/providers for order clarification.
Verify authorized scripts and coordinate updates.
Load/retrieve outside studies and provide copies as needed.
Ensure accurate image identification and diagnostic value.
Prepare, position, and monitor patients for safety and comfort.
Work night shifts, weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime.
Requirements:
2+ years CT experience (5+ preferred).
Radiologic Technologist program graduate.
NJ DEP Radiography License.
ARRT R.T.(R); CT certification within 12 months.
AHA BLS (within 3 months).
Experience with GE CT, Epic, and Fuji PACS.
Ability to work in a busy ED; willing to assist with X-ray.
Preferred:
ARRT (CT) certification.
Hospital HIS/RIS experience.
Additional CT experience beyond minimum.
