Job Title: School Social Worker
Location: Burbank, IL 60459
Contract Duration: 22 Weeks
Schedule: Day Shift | 3 x 11.5-hour shifts (8:00 AM – 3:00 PM) | 35 Hours/Week
Pay Rate: $50 – $53/hr
Position Summary:
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a compassionate and skilled School Social Worker to support students in navigating social, emotional, behavioral, and developmental challenges. The ideal candidate will collaborate with students, families, educators, and school staff to promote academic success and overall well-being.
Responsibilities:
Provide individual and group counseling for students with emotional, behavioral, and cognitive needs
Support students with verbal and non-verbal communication challenges
Conduct social, emotional, and behavioral assessments
Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with school staff
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to support student success
Assist with crisis intervention and conflict resolution
Provide behavior management strategies and emotional regulation support
Maintain accurate documentation, case notes, and progress reports
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
Ensure compliance with state regulations, school policies, and confidentiality standards
Requirements:
Active Illinois Social Worker (IL SW) License
Professional Educator License (PEL)
