This position is for ER travelers able to start before Christmas and work during the holiday period.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department.
Read cardiac rhythms accurately; must pass a hospital proctored test with >80% accuracy in rhythm identification and 100% accuracy in critical rhythm identification.
Administer medications and perform procedures using EPIC and Omnicell systems.
Telemetry monitoring and management of acute patients.
Float between units as needed based on skill set and manager discretion.
Active NY RN license.
Minimum 5 years recent ER experience preferred.
Certifications: BLS, PALS, NIH.
Experience with EPIC charting and Omnicell medication system.
Ability to start within 7 days of contract (minimal RTO).
ACLS certification.
Triage experience.
Level 1 trauma experience.
