Job Title: Monitor Technician
Location: Jamaica, NY 11432
Type: Contract
Duration: 13 Weeks
Hours: 40 hours/week
Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
Pay Rate: $26/hour
Job Summary:
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Monitor Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong acute care experience and proficiency in monitoring vital signs and cardiac rhythms. This role supports a fast-paced clinical environment and requires attention to detail and a solid understanding of EKG interpretation.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor cardiac rhythms and recognize abnormal patterns
Record and report vital signs accurately
Support nursing staff with patient monitoring needs
Maintain equipment and ensure proper documentation
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year of acute care experience
Proficiency in vital signs and cardiac monitoring
Certifications: AHA BLS (Required), EKG Certification (Required)
