Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Day Shift

Contract Duration:13 weeks
Shift: Day Shift | 06:00 AM – 06:30 PM
Scheduled Days: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a 13-week contract assignment. The nurse will provide high-quality patient care while adhering to facility and nursing standards. This role requires professionalism, strong clinical judgment, and the ability to work independently across assigned units.
Deliver safe, timely, and accurate nursing care according to clinical guidelines and scope of practice
Administer medications and treatments following facility protocols and state regulations
Monitor, record, and report changes in patient health status
Assist with patient assessments and contribute to care plan updates
Perform wound care, medication passes, and other LPN-level clinical tasks
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation in patient charts
Communicate effectively with RNs, physicians, and interdisciplinary care teams
Respond promptly to urgent or emergent patient needs
Support infection control practices and safety protocols
Provide compassionate care and maintain patient confidentiality
Assist with admissions, discharges, and transition-of-care processes
Perform additional duties as assigned by supervising clinicians
Active, unrestricted LPN license
Minimum 1 year of recent nursing experience preferred
Strong understanding of clinical processes and patient care standards
Ability to work 12-hour shifts and manage multiple patient priorities
Excellent communication, assessment, and documentation skills
Reliable, professional, and able to work independently
