LPN – Med Surg - Vinton, IA - LPNDS

Position: LPN – Med Surg
Location: Vinton, IA
Type: Contract
Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts (Variable)
Pay Rate: $40–$45/hour

Key Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the healthcare team.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Collaborate with RNs and physicians to deliver comprehensive patient care.
• Provide education and support to patients and families.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in Iowa.
• Minimum of 1 year Med Surg experience preferred.
• Ability to work variable night shifts.
• Strong communication, clinical, and organizational skills.
• Compassionate, patient-focused, and reliable.
