Job Title: Radiology / Mammography Technologist
Location: Falmouth, MA 02540
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 40 hrs/week, 8.5 hrs/day (8a–4:30p or 9a–5:30p), every other Saturday 7:30a–3:30p, no holidays
Pay Rate: $60 – $65/hr
Position Overview:
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to perform 2D/3D mammograms and DEXA bone density scans. Ensures high-quality imaging, patient safety, and comfort while maintaining MQSA and ACR compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain mammography and stereotactic equipment, performing required quality control.
Prepare exam rooms, review requisitions, and verify prior imaging.
Educate patients on procedures and results; ensure accurate history documentation.
Perform diagnostic mammography and DEXA exams safely and efficiently.
Maintain accurate records, PACS data, and compliance with radiation safety and infection control.
Participate in continuing education and professional development.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED; graduate of JCERT-accredited Radiography Program
ARRT-certified in Radiology; Bone Density Operator preferred
Active Massachusetts license in Radiology and Mammography
Current BLS certification
Experience in 2D/3D mammography and bone density exams
Strong communication skills and patient-focused approach
