Job Title: NOC Communications Specialist
Location: Harrisburg, PA
Duration: 6 Months Contract
"Navitas Partners, LLC" is seeking a NOC Communications Specialist to provide after-hours and weekend Level 1 network support in a 24/7 environment. This role serves as the first point of contact for network issues, ensuring timely response, accurate ticketing, and effective communication with internal staff and vendors.
Answer and triage inbound calls for network issues; create and escalate ServiceNow tickets.
Monitor network systems using tools like SolarWinds and SquaredUp.
Perform first-line investigation, respond to alerts/outages, and follow established escalation processes.
Coordinate with Tier 2 Engineers, IT staff, and vendors for service restoration.
Track incidents, monitor ticket queues and event emails, and provide status updates.
Deliver incident communications and maintain strong customer service standards.
Update documentation, support routine NOC tasks, and assist in disaster recovery efforts.
Excellent verbal/written communication and phone etiquette.
Ability to support users with varying technical skill levels.
Strong troubleshooting, organization, and attention to detail.
Experience with incident management and ticketing systems (ServiceNow preferred).
Ability to follow procedures and adapt to changing needs.
2+ years experience in systems administration, help desk, NOC, or call center support.
