A healthcare facility is seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse to provide high-acuity patient care in a fast-paced ED environment. This role requires strong clinical skills, rapid decision-making, and the ability to work collaboratively in a high-stress setting.
Minimum 5 years of current ED experience (preferred)
Active NY RN license in hand
Certifications:
BLS
PALS
NIHSS
EPIC charting experience
Omnicell medication system experience
Telemetry competency
Must be able to read and interpret cardiac rhythms
Must pass a hospital-proctored rhythm test (≥80% accuracy overall and 100% on critical rhythms)
Minimal RTO: 7 days or less
Willingness to float as needed based on skill set
ACLS
Triage experience
Level I trauma experience
Flu vaccine required by 11/1
If medical or religious exemption is requested, documentation must be provided 2 weeks prior to start for approval.
COVID-19 vaccine: Not required per facility guidelines
