Seeking an experienced Ambulatory RN for an Oncology Clinic. Preferred candidates will have outpatient or ambulatory hematology/oncology experience, including infusion.
Current New York State RN Registration.
BLS certification required (must be able to be recertified).
Minimum 1.5 years of recent acute care experience (within the last 2 years) in a facility comparable in size and level.
Travel nurses must have experience in hospitals of equal or greater size or trauma level.
Experience working with EPIC Electronic Medical Records preferred.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required.
Must have:
No suspensions or investigations of professional license or certification
No history as a defendant in professional liability claims
Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
Must successfully pass pre-employment health clearance, drug screening, and criminal background check.
Perform a wide range of patient care functions with minimal orientation and supervision.
Conduct thorough nursing assessments appropriate to an acute care setting.
Provide care to oncology and hematology patients in an ambulatory/clinic environment.
Support infusion-related care as applicable (preferred experience).
Ensure safe, high-quality patient care according to clinical and organizational standards.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the EMR system (EPIC preferred).
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary care team.
Adhere to all regulatory, safety, and compliance requirements.
Experience in the field: Required – 1 year
Level 1 trauma hospital experience: Highly desired
