Radiologic Technologist – CT
Location - Syracuse, NY
Preferred experience with Siemens CT scanners.
Qualifications:
A.A.S. in Radiologic Technology or equivalent
NYS license/registration
Minimum 1 year of CT/MRI experience as a radiologic technologist
Must successfully pass pre-employment health clearance
Duties:
The Radiologic Technologist is responsible for performing radiographic examinations under the direction of departmental radiologists. Responsibilities include:
Greeting patients, explaining procedures, and ensuring comfort and safety
Positioning patients and setting proper exposure factors to obtain high-quality images
Practicing strict radiation safety measures to prevent unnecessary exposure
Operating imaging equipment efficiently and reporting equipment malfunctions as needed
Processing images/films and entering documentation into the Radiology Information System for billing and record accuracy
Following departmental procedures and protocols as outlined in the Policy and Procedure Manual
Performing radiologic examinations based on the needs of referring physicians and radiologists
1 year of experience in the field (required)
A.A.S. in Radiologic Technology (required)
NYS license/registration (required)
