Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Location: Aldie, VA
Position Type: Contract (28 Weeks)
Pay Rate: $39/hr

Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Licensed Practical Nurse for an exciting Travel or Local job in Aldie, VA.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide basic nursing care to students, including assessment, treatment, and monitoring of health conditions.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to healthcare plans and protocols.
• Assist with student health screenings, immunization tracking, and maintaining accurate health records.
• Respond promptly to student health emergencies, providing first aid and coordinating further care as needed.
• Collaborate with school nurses, teachers, parents, and healthcare providers to develop and implement individualized health plans.
• Support health education and promote wellness initiatives within the school community.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and confidential healthcare environment in accordance with school policies.
• Document nursing care and communicate effectively with the school health team.

Qualifications

• Current and valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Virginia
• Previous experience in pediatric, school, or community health nursing preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and foster positive relationships with students, staff, and families
• BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification
