Position Overview
Crystal Springs is seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for an 11-week contract assignment. This role provides an excellent opportunity for an LPN skilled in delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced post-acute and long-term care environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical skills, professionalism, and the ability to work independently during overnight hours.
Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with care plans and clinical guidelines.
Monitor patient conditions, document changes, and report significant findings to supervising staff.
Administer medications and treatments with accuracy and adherence to facility and regulatory standards.
Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges as needed.
Maintain accurate and timely medical charting and documentation.
Support residents with daily living activities while promoting safety, dignity, and comfort.
Collaborate with RNs, CNAs, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated resident care.
Follow infection control protocols and maintain a safe, clean environment.
Active and unencumbered LPN license in the state of practice.
Experience in long-term care, post-acute care, or skilled nursing settings preferred.
Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.
Ability to work independently during night shifts.
Current CPR/BLS certification.
