Position Title: RN – Cardiac Cath Lab
Location: New York, NY 10016
Type: Contract
Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
Schedule: 3 Days per Week (Approx. 34.5 Hours per Week)
Pay Rate: Up to $2,932.50 per Week

Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking RN – Cardiac Cath Lab for an exciting job in New York, NY.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and healthcare teams during cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures.
• Manage patient preparation, including IV insertion, monitoring, and post-procedure recovery.
• Administer and monitor conscious sedation per established protocols.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
• Provide patient education and ensure continuity of care throughout the procedure.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 2 years of Critical Care nursing experience.
• Proficient in IV insertion and phlebotomy.
• Previous experience with conscious sedation.
• Demonstrated ability to scrub and circulate in a Cardiac Cath Lab environment.

Education & Certifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) from an accredited institution (required).
• Active New York State RN License (Primary Source Verification from NYSED).
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications (required).

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Additional certifications in Cardiac Cath Lab or Critical Care Nursing.
