Job Title: Acute Med/Surg RN – Stroke Unit
Location: Multiple Locations
Type: Contract
Pay Rate: $50–$60/hour
Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a skilled Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse. The ideal candidate will have strong Med/Surg, Stroke, and Stepdown experience and be comfortable working in a fast-paced acute care environment.
Requirements:
• 2+ years of Med/Surg nursing
• Direct Stroke & Stepdown experience
• Travel experience required
• EPIC competency required
• RN license in state of assignment
• BLS mandatory, ACLS desirable
• Effective communication and clinical judgment
Responsibilities:
• Care for adult Med/Surg and Stroke Stepdown patients
• Track neurological changes and interpret clinical shifts
• Administer medications & treatments
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teammates
• Participate in stroke protocol activation
• Document thoroughly in EPIC
