Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking RN - Operating Room (Charge Nurse / Working Leader) for an exciting Travel or Local job in Pagosa Springs, CO.
Responsibilities:
Lead and coordinate the preparation of the operating room for surgical procedures, including sterilization and equipment setup.
Supervise and support surgical staff during procedures, ensuring adherence to sterile technique and best practices.
Monitor patients’ vital signs and overall condition throughout surgery.
Administer medications and anesthesia as directed by the surgical team.
Provide post-operative care and ensure safe patient transfer to recovery.
Mentor and guide OR staff to maintain workflow efficiency, patient safety, and high-quality care standards.
Document patient care and surgical details accurately in medical records.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize surgical outcomes and team performance.
Qualifications:
Current RN license in the state of Colorado
Minimum 2 years of Operating Room experience, with leadership or supervisory experience required.
Strong clinical and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork abilities
