Job Title: RN – Labor & Delivery

Type: Contract
Pay Rate: $68 – $70 per hour
Hours per Week: 37.5
Shift: 11.5-hour shifts, 3 days per week
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking RN – Labor & Delivery for an exciting job in Bronx, NY.
Deliver safe, comprehensive nursing care during labor, delivery, and recovery.
Monitor maternal and fetal vital signs, labor progression, and overall patient status.
Assist with vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections.
Perform IV insertion, phlebotomy, and administer prescribed medications.
Provide conscious sedation and monitor patient reactions.
Educate patients and families on labor, postpartum recovery, and newborn care.
Maintain accurate charts, records, and documentation.
Follow hospital safety protocols and infection control standards.
Respond effectively to obstetric emergencies (e.g., fetal distress, postpartum hemorrhage).
Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and multidisciplinary care teams.
Minimum 2 years of Maternal & Child Health experience.
Minimum 2 years of IV insertion and phlebotomy experience.
Minimum 2 years of conscious sedation experience.
