Job Description – Registered Nurse (LTC)

Location: Springer, NM
Setting: Long-Term Care / Nursing Home
Start Date: January
Shift: Nights (Monday–Wednesday)
Shift Length: 12-hour shifts
Weekly Hours: 36 hours
Contract Type: Travel / Contract RN

Position Overview

A Long-Term Care facility in Springer, NM is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a night-shift assignment beginning in January. The RN will provide comprehensive care to residents, support daily living needs, and maintain the highest standards of nursing practice within a nursing home environment.

Schedule

• Night shifts
• Monday through Wednesday
• 12-hour shifts
• 36 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver direct nursing care based on individualized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Monitor residents for changes in condition and report promptly
• Maintain thorough and compliant documentation
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members
• Uphold all facility policies and regulatory requirements

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Experience in LTC / Skilled Nursing / Nursing Homes preferred
• Ability to work set night shifts consistently
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
• Compassionate, dependable, and resident-focused
