Active New York RN license in hand – no exceptions
Specialty: MSDU / PCU RN

Weekends: Every other weekend
First-time travelers: Accepted
Local radius rule: Must live 75+ miles from the facility
Experience: Minimum 1 year recent experience
Patient ratio: Ability to manage 1:5–1:7 on Med-Surg
Certifications: BLS required
Charting: Must have Epic experience

Dysrhythmia interpretation
Dysrhythmia management
Rapid Response / Code Team utilization
IV Therapy & Phlebotomy
Peripheral line care & management
Respiratory Skills
Nasal cannula, oxygen face mask, portable oxygen tank
Non-invasive airway management

Isolation precautions adherence
26-bed critical-care step-down unit
Patient population: Adult acute-care patients requiring higher-level care than Med-Surg
Receives patients from ED, PACU, ICU, and Med-Surg units
All patients monitored with continuous pulse-ox and telemetry
Care includes:
Airway management
Acute BiPAP support
Arterial & central lines
Titrated IV medication infusions
Team provides multidisciplinary, compassionate, evidence-based care
Type: Tertiary Care Hospital
