Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a Mammography Technologist for a job in Atlanta, GA.
Responsibilities:
Perform screening and diagnostic mammograms following established imaging protocols.
Position patients accurately to obtain high-quality breast images while ensuring comfort and safety.
Operate mammography equipment and verify proper functionality before imaging.
Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, imaging data, and patient history.
Collaborate with radiologists and women's health teams to support accurate interpretation and workflow efficiency.
Follow breast imaging standards, quality control procedures, and radiation safety guidelines.
Educate patients regarding the mammography process and respond to their questions or concerns.
Requirements:
Active ARRT certification (Mammography preferred or required by facility).
AHA BLS certification required.
Minimum 2 years of experience in Mammography.
Strong technical skills and knowledge of breast imaging procedures.
