Position Title: Ultrasound Tech / Sonographer
Location: Little Falls, NY
Job Type: Contract | Local or Travel
Shift: Days (8x5)
Duration: 13-Week Assignment
Hourly Pay: $60 to $68/hr
Weekly Pay: $2,250 to $2,550/week
Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Ultrasound Tech / Sonographer for an exciting Travel or Local job in Little Falls, NY.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams in accordance with established imaging protocols
Review patient histories and physician orders to determine appropriate imaging procedures
Capture, analyze, and document high-quality images for physician interpretation
Ensure proper operation, maintenance, and calibration of ultrasound equipment
Assist with patient positioning and explain procedures to ensure comfort and understanding
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with regulatory and facility standards
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff to support patient care
Adhere to safety and infection control guidelines at all times
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or equivalent
Previous clinical sonography experience preferred
Strong knowledge of anatomy and ultrasound best practices
Excellent communication and patient-care skills
Current BLS certification
