Job Title: Medical Assistant
Location: Greenfield, IN 46140
Duration: 5 Weeks
Shift: 07:00 AM – 04:00 PM (Mon–Fri)
Pay Rate: $24/hr
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Assistant to support both front and back office operations. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, assist with clinical procedures, and help maintain an efficient workflow within the center. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with clinical and administrative staff.
Greet and room patients promptly and professionally
Schedule appointments and manage incoming phone calls
Take patient vitals and accurately document all information
Perform phlebotomy/venipuncture and collect lab specimens
Administer vaccines and assist with Point-of-Care (POC) testing
Support front office tasks, including patient check-in and check-out
Maintain exam rooms and ensure a clean, safe clinical environment
Provide both clinical and administrative support as needed
Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure excellent patient care
Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience (externship not included)
Medical Assistant Certification strongly preferred
Occupational Health experience strongly preferred
Phlebotomy/venipuncture and EMR experience required
Strong attention to detail and excellent patient communication skills
Solid computer skills and ability to multitask
Passion for health education, outreach, and improving patient outcomes
