Location: Bronx, NY 10451
Assignment Type: 14-Week Contract
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Hours: 40 hours per week

Compensation

  • Gross Weekly: $6,126/week

  • W2 Pay Rate: $122/hour

  • Stipend: $1,246/week

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Chief Operations Officer (COO) for a major healthcare system in the Bronx, NY. This role is responsible for overseeing daily operations, optimizing organizational performance, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality healthcare services. The COO will collaborate with executive leadership to drive strategic initiatives, improve operational efficiency, and lead cross-functional hospital departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage daily operations across multiple hospital divisions.

  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, policies, and performance standards.

  • Develop and implement operational strategies to support organizational goals.

  • Address community healthcare needs through effective program planning and execution.

  • Lead, mentor, and support department leaders to ensure high-quality service delivery.

  • Monitor performance metrics and identify improvement opportunities.

  • Collaborate with executive leadership on budgeting, staffing, and resource allocation.

  • Strengthen organizational culture through communication, transparency, and engagement.

Qualifications

Education

  • Master’s Degree required in one of the following or related fields:

    • Hospital Administration

    • Business Administration

    • Public Health

    • Medical Administration

    • Healthcare Administration

    • Or a related field from an accredited institution

Experience

  • Minimum 6 years of full-time experience in high-level business or public administration
    OR

  • Experience as a Hospital Administrator with direct responsibility for overall operations or major divisions.

  • Proven background in addressing community healthcare needs.

Skills & Knowledge

  • Extensive knowledge of hospital operations, regulatory requirements, and healthcare management.

  • Strong leadership and strategic planning abilities.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to manage and coordinate multiple departments in a large healthcare environment.

  • Skilled in problem-solving, decision-making, team-building, and organizational development.
