Job Title: RN – IV Therapy

Location: Hyannis, MA
Assignment Type: Contract | 13 Weeks
Shift: 5x8-Hour Evenings
Weekly Gross Pay: $2,801

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (IV Therapy) for a 13-week contract assignment in Hyannis, Massachusetts. The ideal candidate will possess strong IV therapy skills, clinical judgment, and the ability to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize the nursing process effectively to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.

• Maintain accurate and current documentation of patient records in accordance with nursing standards.

• Administer medications safely and monitor patient responses to treatment.

• Insert and manage PICC lines and ultrasound-guided PIVs (preferred).

• Act as a charge nurse when needed and serve as a resource for staff orientation and education.

• Demonstrate proficiency in computerized nursing systems and informatics.

• Participate in unit meetings, mandatory programs, and professional development activities.

• Adhere to safety protocols, infection control, and hospital policies.

• Represent the organization with professionalism and maintain strict patient confidentiality.

• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors or clinical leadership.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred)

• Current and valid Massachusetts RN license

• IV Certification (CRNI) required within 2.5 years of hire

• Current experience in IV therapy

• Experience with PICC line insertion and ultrasound-guided PIVs strongly preferred

• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills

Certifications:

• Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association
