Shift: 5x8-Hour Evenings
Weekly Gross Pay: $2,801
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (IV Therapy) for a 13-week contract assignment in Hyannis, Massachusetts. The ideal candidate will possess strong IV therapy skills, clinical judgment, and the ability to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Utilize the nursing process effectively to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
Maintain accurate and current documentation of patient records in accordance with nursing standards.
Administer medications safely and monitor patient responses to treatment.
Insert and manage PICC lines and ultrasound-guided PIVs (preferred).
Act as a charge nurse when needed and serve as a resource for staff orientation and education.
Demonstrate proficiency in computerized nursing systems and informatics.
Participate in unit meetings, mandatory programs, and professional development activities.
Adhere to safety protocols, infection control, and hospital policies.
Represent the organization with professionalism and maintain strict patient confidentiality.
Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors or clinical leadership.
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred)
Current and valid Massachusetts RN license
IV Certification (CRNI) required within 2.5 years of hire
Current experience in IV therapy
Experience with PICC line insertion and ultrasound-guided PIVs strongly preferred
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills
Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association
