Position Title: Bio Medical Equipment Technician
Location: New York, NY 10037
Shift: Day (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
Position Type: Contract
Pay Rate: $29/hour
Overview:
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking Bio Medical Equipment Technician for an exciting job in New York, NY.
Responsibilities:
Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of biomedical equipment.
Conduct equipment calibration and functional testing in compliance with established standards.
Collaborate with clinical and technical staff to address equipment issues promptly.
Maintain accurate service records and ensure adherence to safety, regulatory, and quality standards.
Assist in evaluating new equipment and provide technical support as needed.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Biomedical Equipment Technician or in a related technical role.
Strong knowledge of biomedical instrumentation, electronics, and safety standards.
Excellent diagnostic, communication, and organizational skills.
Certification such as CBET (Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician) preferred but not required.
