Registered Nurse – IV Therapy
Location: Hyannis, MA 02601
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day/Evening | 40 hours per week | Every other weekend & rotating holidays
Shift Hours: 07:30–16:00 | 08:00–16:30 | 14:00–22:30 | 15:00–23:30 (rotating)
Travel Pay Rate: $2,476 – $2,686 per week

Position Summary:

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced IV Therapy Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. This role involves administering medications, managing vascular access (including midlines and PICC lines), and leading support staff to ensure excellent patient outcomes and adherence to hospital standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver patient care using the nursing process and maintain accurate documentation.

  • Assess, plan, and implement individualized care plans; communicate with interdisciplinary teams.

  • Administer medications and monitor patient responses.

  • Perform charge nurse duties and utilize electronic health record systems efficiently.

  • Serve as a clinical resource for IV therapy, orientation, and staff education.

  • Adhere to infection control, safety, and quality care policies.

  • Participate in meetings, training, and professional development activities.

  • Promote a positive, patient-centered environment and uphold hospital confidentiality standards.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.

  • Active RN license in Massachusetts (required).

  • BLS certification (required).

  • Proven IV therapy experience, including venipuncture and vascular access.

  • PICC and ultrasound-guided IV experience preferred; proficiency in PICC placement required within 1 year.

  • IV Certification (CRNI) required within 2.5 years of hire.

  • BSN preferred.

  • Strong communication and documentation skills in English.
