Position Title: Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Travel Contract
Location: Rochester, NY
Job Type: Contract | Travel
Shift: Night (12-hour shifts, 4 per week)
Duration: 13-week assignment
Hourly Pay: $30 – $37/hr
Weekly Pay: $1,320 – $1,628/week

Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for an exciting Travel job in Rochester, NY.

Responsibilities:

• Provide patient care on the Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit under the supervision of an RN.
• Independently manage assigned patients with RN support as needed.
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and perform routine nursing procedures.
• Accurately document patient care in Epic.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Work scheduled shifts, including every other weekend.

Qualifications:

• Active New York LPN/LVN license.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent hospital experience within the last 2 years.
• Ability to work three 12-hour shifts (day or night).
• Competent in basic patient care, medical-surgical nursing procedures, and telemetry monitoring.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
