Position Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist
Location: Hyannis, MA 02601
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 40 hours per week | 8-hour shifts (Start: 7:00 AM–3:30 PM or 8:00 AM–4:30 PM)
On-Call: Required rotation for nights, weekends, and holidays
Pay Rate: $74 – $78 per hour

Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking Interventional Radiology Technologist for an exciting job in Hyannis, MA.

Responsibilities

  • Assist physicians with all aspects of invasive and interventional procedures, including scrubbing, circulating, monitoring, and recording hemodynamic data.

  • Operate and maintain interventional imaging equipment and associated devices.

  • Prepare and position patients for procedures, ensuring comfort and safety throughout.

  • Set up and maintain sterile trays, clean equipment, and ensure proper disposal after procedures.

  • Administer contrast media under physician supervision.

  • Maintain inventory and perform routine safety checks on equipment.

  • Participate in on-call rotations for emergency and after-hours cases.

  • Support departmental efficiency and contribute to ongoing professional development.

Common Procedures Performed

Endovascular & Diagnostic/Interventional Procedures:
Aortagram, Carotid, AV Fistula, Embolization, IVC Filter, Lytics, Dialysis, Quinton Catheter, TIPS, PICC, Biopsies

Non-Vascular Procedures:
Drain placements, G/J Tube insertions, Nephrostomy/Kidney Tube placements, Biliary interventions

Qualifications

  • Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited Radiologic Technology Program

  • ARRT registration and Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist license required

  • BLS and ACLS certifications (current)

  • Minimum 2 years of interventional radiology or cardiac cath lab experience

  • RCIS, CI, or VI certification preferred

  • Knowledge of sterile techniques, radiation safety, and interventional imaging protocols

Preferred Experience

  • Previous experience assisting with endovascular and peripheral procedures

  • Proficiency in maintaining interventional equipment and documentation

  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and support complex procedures efficiently
