Position Title: Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
Location: South Riding, VA 20152
Job Type: Contract
Shift: 7:00 a.m. – 2:45 p.m.
Pay Rate: $27 per hour
Job Summary:
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking Registered Behavior Technician for an exciting job in South Riding, VA.
Responsibilities:
Implement individualized behavior intervention plans designed by the supervising BCBA.
Accurately collect, record, and report data on client performance and progress.
Assist in teaching communication, social interaction, and daily living skills using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles.
Manage and appropriately respond to challenging behaviors using approved intervention strategies.
Provide support in home, school, or clinical settings as assigned.
Communicate effectively with supervisors, caregivers, and multidisciplinary team members regarding client status and updates.
Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to all ethical and professional standards.
Participate in required ongoing training, supervision, and performance reviews.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, or related field preferred).
Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
Prior experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
Strong communication, patience, and observational skills.
