Weekly Gross Pay: $2,645
We are seeking a Registered Ultrasound Technologist for an 8-week assignment in Brooklyn, New York. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations, particularly in high-acuity or specialized care environments, and demonstrate strong technical and communication skills.
Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures according to physician orders and department protocols.
Ensure proper patient identification, preparation, and education prior to exams.
Operate and maintain ultrasound imaging systems and related equipment.
Review and evaluate images for quality, accuracy, and diagnostic value before submission.
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards.
Collaborate effectively with medical and nursing staff to deliver high-quality patient care.
Adhere to confidentiality and HIPAA standards at all times.
Certification: Registered with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or ARRT (Ultrasound).
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist.
Technical Skills: Proficiency with ultrasound imaging systems, PACS, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Other Requirements: Strong communication, patient care, and time management skills.
