Location: Elmhurst, NY
Type: Contract (13 Weeks)
Schedule: 35 hours/week, 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM, Monday through Friday, with alternating weekends and holidays
Pay(Local): Up to $2,250/Week
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking MRI Technologist for an exciting job in Elmhurst, NY.
Operate MRI equipment and produce high-quality diagnostic images as ordered by physicians.
Position and prepare patients while ensuring adherence to MRI safety protocols.
Screen patients for contraindications such as pacemakers and metal implants.
Administer contrast media according to established protocols and monitor patient safety.
Maintain MRI equipment, perform safety checks, and report technical issues promptly.
Collaborate with radiologists and multidisciplinary staff to ensure image accuracy and quality.
Maintain complete and accurate patient documentation.
Participate in a two-week training program, including EPIC system training (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM).
Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
Valid New York State Radiologic Technologist License.
Current ARRT (MRI) or ARMRIT certification.
Minimum 1 year of MRI experience in an acute care environment.
Level 1 Trauma Center experience required.
Experience with GE MRI equipment preferred.
BLS Certification (American Heart Association) preferred.
