Lead Respiratory Therapist
Location: Florida (Multiple Locations)
Employment Type: Full-Time | Acute Care Hospital

Pay Range: $55,000 to $60,000/year
Position Summary:
The Lead Respiratory Therapist will supervise daily respiratory care operations while providing direct care to patients in a critical care setting. This role combines clinical leadership with hands-on expertise to ensure high-quality respiratory services are consistently delivered.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor the respiratory therapy team in daily operations
Perform advanced respiratory procedures, including mechanical ventilation management
Oversee staff scheduling, quality control, and competency training
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
Ensure equipment functionality and adherence to safety and regulatory standards
Qualifications:
Active Florida Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license required
Minimum 1 year of leadership or supervisory experience in an acute care setting
No employment gaps exceeding 1 year
