Position Overview: The Manager of Telemetry is responsible for overseeing telemetry unit operations and leading high-performing teams focused on patient safety, quality, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily operations, staffing, and patient throughput for the telemetry department.
  • Ensure achievement of quality metrics, patient safety outcomes, and regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate closely with cardiology and interdisciplinary care teams.
  • Oversee departmental budgets, scheduling, and resource utilization.
  • Lead and implement performance and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Active RN license.
  • Minimum 1 year of telemetry leadership or charge nurse experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
