Location: Hyannis, MA
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 40 hours/week | 10-hour shifts (7:00 AM–5:30 PM or 8:00 AM–6:30 PM)
Travel Pay: Up to $3,248.50/week

Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking Travel Cath Lab Technologist for an exciting job in Hyannis, MA.

Responsibilities

  • Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, including scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring patient hemodynamics.

  • Perform and support a variety of interventional and vascular procedures, including:

    • Endovascular, diagnostic, and peripheral interventions (Aortagram, LE/UE/Visceral, Carotid, AV Fistula).

    • Procedures such as Embolization, IVC Filter, Lytics, Dialysis, Quinton Cath, TIPS, PICC, Biopsy, drains, and tube placements.

  • Administer contrast media under physician supervision.

  • Maintain sterile technique and ensure equipment functionality and readiness.

  • Provide patient care and communication throughout procedures to ensure safety and comfort.

  • Support inventory control and preventive equipment maintenance.

  • Participate in ongoing quality improvement and professional development activities.

Qualifications

For Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS):

  • Associate degree or higher in Cardiovascular Technology or Associate degree with 3+ years of Cath Lab experience.

  • RCIS certification required.

  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications.

  • Completion of IABP training.

For Special Procedures Technologist:

  • Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited Radiologic Technology Program.

  • ARRT registration and Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist license required.

  • Minimum 2 years of post-graduate radiology or recent Special Procedures experience.

  • BLS, ACLS, and IABP course completion.

  • Advanced credentials (RCIS, CI, or VI certification) preferred.

Preferred Experience

  • Prior Interventional Radiology (IR) experience.

  • Ability to perform advanced vascular, non-vascular, and cardiac procedures independently.

  • Excellent teamwork, communication, and patient interaction skills.
