Travel RN – Med/Surg ICU
Location: Bronx, NY
Type: Contract
Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
Schedule: 3 shifts per week (11.5-hour shifts, approximately 34.5 hours/week)
Travel Pay: Up to $2,594/week
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking Travel RN – Med/Surg ICU for an exciting job in Bronx, NY.
Provide comprehensive, evidence-based nursing care to patients in a Med/Surg ICU setting.
Perform IV insertions, phlebotomy, and administer conscious sedation according to established protocols.
Continuously monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and progress.
Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
Maintain compliance with infection control, safety, and regulatory standards at all times.
Minimum 2 years of Medical/Surgical ICU nursing experience.
Minimum 2 years of IV insertion and phlebotomy experience.
Minimum 2 years of experience with conscious sedation.
Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN or ASN) from an accredited program.
Active New York State RN License.
AHA BLS and ACLS certifications (current and valid).
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
Strong critical thinking, communication, and leadership skills.
Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
