Job Title: Registered Nurse – Med Surg ICU
Location: Bronx, NY
Duration: 13 Weeks (Extendable)
Shift: 3x12 Hours
Pay: $2,677 Weekly Gross
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (Med Surg ICU) for a 13-week travel assignment. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced acute care environment, specializing in both Medical-Surgical and Intensive Care settings. This position requires strong clinical skills, critical thinking, and the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
Deliver safe, compassionate, and comprehensive nursing care to patients in Med Surg and ICU units.
Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatments.
Perform IV insertions, phlebotomy, and conscious sedation procedures as required.
Administer medications, manage equipment, and assist with procedures as directed by physicians.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient outcomes.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
Provide patient and family education regarding care plans and recovery processes.
Minimum 2 years of recent Medical/Surgical experience.
2 years of IV Insertion and Phlebotomy experience.
2 years of Conscious Sedation experience.
BLS (AHA)
ACLS (AHA)
Active RN License – New York State
