Job Title: Center Administrator (Long-Term Care)
Location: Keene, NH 03431
Duration: 12+ Weeks (Possible Extension)
Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM | 40 Hours/Week

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Center Administrator to oversee operations at a long-term care facility. This role requires a dynamic leader dedicated to ensuring the highest quality of resident care, operational excellence, financial performance, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will foster a positive and collaborative culture for both staff and residents while maintaining full compliance with healthcare regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Leadership:

  • Direct and manage daily operations across all departments including nursing, dietary, housekeeping, maintenance, and administration.

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve performance goals in quality, census, staffing, and finances.

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local long-term care regulations.

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure exceptional resident care and service delivery.

Regulatory & Compliance:

  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of CMS, state, and local regulatory requirements.

  • Lead survey readiness and manage state and federal inspection processes.

  • Implement corrective action plans to address compliance or performance issues.

  • Monitor and analyze quality indicators to support continuous improvement.

Financial Management:

  • Prepare and oversee the facility’s annual operating budget.

  • Manage operational costs and monitor census/reimbursement trends for financial stability.

  • Approve expenditures and manage vendor relationships within budget guidelines.

Staff Leadership & Development:

  • Recruit, train, and retain top-performing staff members.

  • Cultivate a culture of teamwork, accountability, and resident-centered care.

  • Conduct regular meetings, evaluations, and staff development programs.

  • Ensure appropriate staffing levels and compliance with labor laws.

Resident & Family Relations:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with residents and their families.

  • Address concerns promptly, ensuring satisfaction and trust.

  • Support initiatives that promote engagement and resident well-being.

Community Relations:

  • Represent the facility in the community to strengthen its reputation and promote growth.

  • Build partnerships with hospitals, referral sources, and healthcare providers.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Nursing, or related field (Master’s preferred).

  • Active Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) license in good standing (state of employment).

  • Minimum 3–5 years of leadership experience in long-term care or healthcare operations.

  • Proven track record in financial management, staffing, and regulatory compliance.

  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills.

  • Demonstrated experience in survey readiness and resident satisfaction improvement.
